Schwalmstadt, an up-and-coming middle center between Kassel and Marburg in the heart of Rotkäppchenland.

Schwalmstadt has been able to call itself a “confirmation city” since October 2017. Background: In Ziegenhain,
the second largest district of Schwalmstadt, the Ziegenhain (church) breeding regulations were issued during the
Reformation in 1539. It laid down rules for the Protestant faith that are still valid today, including the introduction
of confirmation.
