Pearl in Linzgau

Pfullendorf is located in the middle of beautiful Linzgau - ideally between Lake Constance and the Danube Valley.
A mild climate, a diverse landscape and countless leisure activities are attracting an ever-increasing number of
guests to the former imperial city. In the picturesque old town, lovingly restored half-timbered and town houses bear witness to a great history.
Romantic corners, playful facades and babbling fountains are best discovered on foot. You can feel both the flair
of the medieval city and the vibrant life of the 21st century. A landmark that can be seen from afar is the Upper Gate with its 38 meter high observation tower. Once part
of the city fortifications, it is now a symbol of the city. The market square, local museum, stone barn, old house,
historic town hall and town church are the stops on a tour. And of course there's one thing that shouldn't be
missing in Pfullendorf: water. Be it the many fountains or the romantic city lake with an island and fountain -
a variety of small oases invite you to linger.
