Riedlingen - one of the most beautiful Danube towns between Ulm and Sigmaringen

The cityscape of the former Upper Austrian city is characterized by the Gothic St. George's Church, the town hall
with the two stepped gables and the small and large half-timbered houses, which have been beautifully spruced
up one after the other. Riedlingen is also known for its traditional “Swabian-Alemannic carnival”, whose figures
are depicted in the Fool’s Fountain in the pedestrian zone. The Riedlinger stork can be seen at the top of the
Fools' Fountain. Riedlingen is the only city in Baden-Württemberg where storks have nested every year since
time immemorial. The area around Riedlingen is ideal for cyclists. The city is located directly on the Danube
cycle path, but beautiful cycle tours are also possible off this path.
