Eberbach

Via the German half-timbered road you reach Eberbach, the heart of the Neckar valley, with its idyllic cityscape.
From the Neckar you can see the dense row of medieval houses, framed by two of the four preserved city towers.
Eberbach was probably founded in 1227 when King Henry VII received Eberbach Castle as a fief from the Bishop
of Worms. Eberbach initially became an imperial city and then had various pawns. Historical buildings, a picturesque old
town and mighty walls give the city a special flair, where tradition and customs live alongside modernity. Elegant town houses with stylish paintings and attractive half-timbering make the old town an experience… Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of our homeland, by the diversity of nature and by the wonderful hiking
trails in and around Eberbach.
